Built-in Social Network

The Hessler St. project will feature a built-in social network enabling any resident, staff or researcher to participate and have 'personal accounts' in the system.

Each social network account will have it's own unique interface and aggregated set of friends, services and content.

By including social networking in the free dashboard software, each resident, staff and researcher will have the following functionality:

• Personal pages (both public and private)

• Blogging

• Media storage and sharing (video, images, audio)

• Groups (including Forums, Events, Gallery)

• Friending - with any other network member

• Private Messages

• Comments, Rating, Points, Testimonials, Activity streams

• Customization

• Facebook Connect and other integration with other leading social networks (MySpace, Ning, LinkedIn, etc.)

The social network will be seamlessly integrated with the rest of the dashboard and News Page interface.
